I spent some time in Princeton recently (photo on cover). It’s a treasure chest of crawling ivy, something I have to photograph every time I see it. The photo on the last slide is from Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills, NJ, another gorgeous place for nature photography.

The original inspiration for this poem came from Stromae’s music video for the song ‘Fils de joie.’

Coming out of the inaugural AAPI NJ Leadership Conference this past weekend, I’ve got a lot of really exciting topics to write about, so stay tuned for that! I’ve also just finished final edits for chapter 8 of my book.
