Emily Zanker is a writer and author, currently working on her debut fantasy series. Her work has appeared in the Goodreads Best Short Stories 2021. She specializes in fantasy, science fiction, and speculative fiction.

She is from Philadelphia, PA, where she studied Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been a storyteller all her life, so after stubbornly ignoring her creative impulses for years, she finally switched to writing full-time in 2020.

When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys drawing, photography, and researching best ways to grow a native butterfly habit in her backyard.
